Are these kits authentic or “inspired by”?
They’re developed with Moroccan and Amazigh partners. We teach real processes and identify where adaptations are made for safety or age.
What ages are the weaving kits for?
Early learners (5–7) start with ribbon looms; standard kits suit 8+; teens/adults can tackle advanced cards. Mixed-age guidance is included.
Do I need prior craft experience?
No. Step cards and videos guide you from warp to finish; each kit includes a troubleshooting page.
Can I use this in a standards-based class?
Yes. Each kit maps skills to art/design, geography, and culture standards with reflection prompts and assessment rubrics.
How do refills work?
Keep your tools; restock with fiber and card refills to repeat lessons or extend projects.
Is cultural appropriation addressed?
We include guidance on respectful learning, attribution, and when/where to avoid sacred or restricted motifs.
