FAQ

FAQs

What exactly is a “knot number”?
A numbered position on the project grid that corresponds to a knot in the final rug. Claiming one funds that stitch and lists you on the wall label.
Do I need to be in Morocco to participate?
No. You can join from anywhere—everything is digital until weaving begins in Marrakech.
Is there a minimum or maximum contribution?
From 1 knot up to full blocks. Larger tiers are ideal for schools and organizations.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes—choose initials or “Anonymous” during checkout.
Will I receive a physical piece of the rug?
The rug remains a single artwork. Contributors receive a digital certificate and access to the final presentation; optional keepsakes may be offered later.
Is my logo allowed on the label?
Logos are accepted for education, cultural orgs, and sponsors at designated tiers (see tier details).
What happens if the grid doesn’t fill?
We weave at planned milestones (e.g., 50%, 75%, 100%) and adjust size accordingly. All contributors are recognized.
